JOY YUN
Owner / President
Portlight Business Services is owned and operated by Joy Yun. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento in 1995 with a degree in Accounting, Joy started out as a Financial Analyst at Franklin Templeton Investments. After leaving Franklin Templeton, she spent the next 16 years at Sutter Health in Sacramento, first as an Auditor, then moving in to leadership roles in the Facilities Planning & Development and Capital Accounting Departments. In 2013 Joy started doing some business consulting and bookkeeping for a few local non-profit agencies. In 2019 Joy acquired Portlight Technology & Consulting Services, a certified software re-seller. The company then expanded it’s services to include outsourced CFO & Controller Services and Consulting for non-profit organizations under the name of Portlight Consulting Services.
In her free time Joy enjoys skiing, hiking, and days at the beach with her husband and daughter. Joy also enjoys volunteering for various organizations in the community. She is currently an Ambassador for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and President of Soroptimist International of Auburn.
AMBER JOHNSON
Lead Audit Consultant
Amber Johnson joined our team as an Audit Consultant in early 2023. After graduating from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Accounting, Amber obtained her CPA license and began work as a financial auditor with KPMG. Three years later, Amber relocated from Fresno to Sacramento and began working with Sutter Health. In her 20 years with Sutter, Amber performed financial audits, designed and developed the accounting department dedicated to capital expenditures, and held leadership roles in risk management and data governance.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
